Ash has delivered more than 100 hours of high-end factual television for streamers, UK and US networks - spanning genres including science, natural history, engineering and true crime. Most recently he has overseen BBC2’s landmark science documentary Brian Cox: Seven Days on Mars, winner of the Realscreen Award for Outstanding Science Programme, as well as the first and second seasons of Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom for National Geographic and Disney+.

Ash’s career combines both production and development and spans documentaries, specialist factual and factual entertainment. Prior to Arrow, he was responsible for developing a range of award-winning and channel-defining popular factual formats including The Great British Bake Off for BBC1/BBC2, The Baby Borrowers for BBC3 and Filthy Rich and Homeless for BBC1/BBC3.

During his time at Arrow, Ash has delivered standout series, singles and events including Man Made Planet: Earth From Space for Channel 4, and working with Dermot O’Leary and Prince Harry on the major as-live Channel 4 event Battle of Britain: Return of the Spitfires. He’s also exec’d science films Miracle on the Hudson and Survival in the Skies for Smithsonian Channel and top-rating true crime series Caught in the Net and See No Evil for Investigation Discovery.
