We are excited to announce our gripping series In the Eye of the Storm will return for a second season on Discovery Channel and Max, later this year.
Anchored by groundbreaking crowdsourced storytelling, In the Eye of the Storm reveals the chaos and drama that takes place in the epicentre of recent natural disasters. Each episode is told exclusively through first-hand accounts of everyday people, and seen through the lens of phones, security cameras, and other points of view that capture the dramatic moments that would change their lives forever.
The first season included people filming their own brushes with death as a monstrous system unleashed destructive tornadoes in Lewistown, Illinois; eyewitnesses from Louisiana to New York City filming harrowing encounters with tornadoes and flooding when Hurrican Ida impacted half the country in 2021; and civilians taking to the sea for any chance of survival when a hurricane turned a small wildfire into an inferno in Hawaii.
