We are delighted that the Mind of a Monster series has been awarded gold at the inaugural Signal Awards, a podcast award from the organisers of the internet-focused Webby Awards, in which 135,000 fans cast their votes in the public voting categories.

The Mind of a Monster Podcast, a companion to Arrow Media's Mind of a Monster television brand, delves into the psyche of America’s most notorious serial killers. Hosted by criminal psychologist Michelle Ward the series allows listeners to hear chilling audio straight from the monsters themselves with exclusive access and insight into these depraved killers.

Mind of a Monster Season 3 takes a close look at King County, Washington where the biggest names in serial killing history – Ted Bundy and The Green River Killer – began their murder sprees, investigating how one county gave birth to two of the most notorious serial killers.

The Signal Awards seeks to honour and celebrate the people and content that raise the bar for podcasting. “The Signal Awards were created to lift up and showcase the podcast industry’s diversity and depth, while also helping the community of listeners and fans find new shows and celebrate the existing ones they love,” Deondric Royster, the managing director of the Signal Awards, said. “We congratulate the winners on their success and also thank the podcast-listening public for enthusiastically engaging in the very first year of our awards.”

Winners will be honoured at an awards party in New York on 23 January.
