For 30 years, Dr Chris Lowe, director of the CSULB Shark Lab Right, has lived and worked in California. He never thought he’d see the day when he’d be able to go out and tag baby white sharks in his front yard.
In this special documentary for Shark Week, he travels to Guadalupe Island, off Mexico, where he finds the answer to why great white shark numbers are growing so much along the LA coastline - and why they are increasingly hunting out of season.
